B. relate rolex watch to movies: action star like james bond have list of watches, suit, cologne just to look good for himself.

III. back to the ad-ladies man/leaner

conclusion: what make him/ how does this show masculinities

  1. I wish you composed your outline using complete sentences as I'm not particularly certain what your thesis or supporting points are. Please review the assignment and outline guidelines. First you need a thesis, which states what type of masculinity the ad is trying to promote/sell along with the product. Your first supporting point, and do correct me if I'm wrong, focuses on the male model in your ad, and that he "appears" rather than "acts" defying the stereotypes Bordo comments on in her analysis.But I'm not sure how analysing the Rolex will support this point? Your second supporting point sounds very much like the first? The further details, A and B, deal with different aspects; A addresses the writing in the ad, while B seems to analyze the product. Lastly, I don't really know what your third point is or what you will discuss in your conclusion?
