The Male Privilege Checklist
#12 "If I have children and a career, no one will think I’m selfish for not staying at home." I disagree with this quote that couple should share responsibilities for taking care of children even though he/she has a job.
Usually, the sterotype which is the woman should stay home and take care of the family while the man works and if both of them have a job, it is often the woman sacrifice her job and let the man handle the working. When talking about the child issue, and both parents went to work, the woman usually be the target label of selfish and not taking care of the house. In today's society, there are thousands of men staying at home when their partner go to work. They switch roles and still, working very well and they break the "rules" that woman suppose to stay home.
